Binance has thus come out to debunk rumors surrounding the so-called “Moonbix Coin,” which is not true because there is no cryptocurrency token that is affiliated with the Moonbix game.
Later, in an official announcement, Binance stated that Moonbix is an entertainment-based game designed for users with no relation to any tokens that have investment value. This emerged following some rumors that suggested that Moonbix could be like other meme tokens such as Hamster, Dogs, Cats, or Xempire.
Binance also clarified its stand that Moonbix has been primarily designed to be a game and they do not have any plans regarding launching a token. This is to state in clear terms that any news or information about the introduction of a Moonbix Coin is fake news and users are advised to refrain from indulging in fake news but to await official communication or update instead.
Despite the fact that players of Moonbix can potentially win crypto rewards through special events, Binance was keen to state that no token associated with the game is planned. The platform reiterated that the game is only for fun, not for getting filthy rich through gambling.
Finally, Binance reminded its users to prioritize their safety with the message:
So always remember that your safety is of paramount concern here. I used to say ‘Stay SAFU, stay informed, and most importantly, don’t take anything at face value!”
